Pros:
- clean and very warm water (August 2010)
- Very fine and soft sand
- Nice long waves with NE winds
Cons:
- Ridiculously expensive for what u get for it
- The actual beach you pay for is VERY small in comparison with the rest of the beach,

Dear Fady Francis,

I wouldn't forgo Antalya as it doesn't compare to the beaches of Istanbul. The summer resort atmosphere is completely different in Antalya. Moreover, the Black Sea is quite rough, whereas the Mediterranean is much more ideal for swimming.

Hi Everybody! I was there last Saturday. It's a nice place, I confirm. The beach is beautiful and the water seemed clean (and cold, very cold).
Does anyone know who can I ask for windsurfing there?

Ciao

Hi Sebastian,
I'm not sure if I'm late to respond. Burc Beach is at Kilyos. Kilyos is about 25 KM out of Istanbul's European side city-center. And actually there are not "high-level" hotels near Kilyos. But here are some numbers I know:
Yuva Otel& Restoran +90 (212) 201 10 43
Kilya Beach - Resort Otel +90 (212) 201 23 55
Yonca Motel& Restoran +90 (212) 201 10 45
Gurup Otel +90 (212) 201 11 94

But if you're looking for a better hotel, I suggest you to look hotels around Maslak, which is a business center that contains a lot of good hotels.

Best,
